Court Sports Professional

Webbs Reserve at Babcock Ranch, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Court Sports Professional! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in building the clubs programming and experience for our members and guests. Court sports include Tennis, Pickleball and Bocce Ball. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in racquet sports and community management.

Position Summary: Provide the ultimate court sports experience by providing the highest quality instruction and customer service. This position will be an integral component to building successful programs through each sport. Teach various sports programs, including junior programs, lessons, special events, and clinics. Full-time.

Essential Duties:

· Provides instruction (private and group) for all levels of players.

· Assists in the promotion of and conducting court sports programs including clinics, private lessons, special events, and weekly activities to attract and maintain members’/guests’ court sports interests.

· Manage all booking engine functionality and programming.

· Communicate with members around all programming and offerings.

· Ensure students understand various court sports rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, booking components and etiquette.

· Enforces all club rules and regulations governing the use of the club/facility, its equipment, and other property.

· Performs racquet stringing.

· Performs court maintenance.

· Quickly and efficiently responds to member/guest questions, comments, and concerns.

· Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

· Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism.

· Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

· Minimum 4-years experience required.

Physical Demands:

· Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks, hears, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.

· Occasionally sits.

· Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

· Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

· Noise level is moderate.

· Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., staff may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers, and the manuals for the equipment used are in English).
