What You'll Do

Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle and trailer. Transport crane equipment, rigging gear, and materials to and from job sites. Ensure loads are properly secured and delivered accurately and on time.

Rigging & Jobsite Support: Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and setup of crane and rigging equipment. Work directly with other drivers, riggers, signalmen along with crane operators during mobilization and demobilization. Support safe, efficient crane operations through teamwork and communication.

Inspections & Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identify and report vehicle or equipment issues promptly, and maintain vehicle condition in compliance with safety standards.

Regulations & Compliance: Follow all DOT, federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and documentation.

Communication & Customer Service: Communicate effectively with field crews, logistics teams, clients, and vendors. Represent Northwest Corp professionally at all job sites and customer locations. Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service.

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Occasional travel, overtime, and double time
  • Based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

What We're Looking For

  • Rigging experience or strong drive to learn

  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

  • Air Brake Endorsement

  • Proven experience as a CDL driver (construction or logistics preferred)

  • Knowledge of load securement and material handling

  • Ability to perform physical, hands-on work in varying weather conditions

  • Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
