Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Location

This is a full time, on-site opportunity in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Our team works closely together in the office to coordinate provider credentialing, hospital privileges, licensing, and onboarding. Candidates should be comfortable commuting to Blue Bell on a regular basis.

Note

Candidates should have 5+ years of credentialing experience, preferably involving physicians, advanced practice providers, hospital privileges, or facility credentialing. A bachelor's degree is required, and Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist, CPCS, certification is preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage the end to end provider credentialing process for physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Obtain and maintain hospital privileges for new and existing providers.
  • Coordinate credentialing applications, supporting documentation, renewals, and required follow up.
  • Facilitate state licensing for newly hired providers.
  • Prepare state specific collaborative and prescriptive authority agreements for nurse practitioners and physician assistants when applicable.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between providers and hospital medical staff offices.
  • Communicate confidently with physicians, APPs, hospital representatives, and internal teams regarding credentialing requirements and deadlines.
  • Track credentialing, licensing, privileging, and onboarding deadlines to ensure providers are ready to begin assignments on time.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential provider records and credentialing documentation.
  • Help implement and improve credentialing procedures, workflows, and internal processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of healthcare credentialing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with physician or advanced practice provider credentialing strongly preferred.
  • Experience obtaining hospital privileges and managing facility credentialing processes.
  • Familiarity with provider state licensing and credentialing documentation.
  • CPCS certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and follow up skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple provider files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with physicians, APPs, hospital medical staff offices, and internal leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic credentialing or document management systems.
