General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing various duties to support the credit analysis function; achieving goals as established in the assigned department's annual operating plan; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the credit analysis function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; providing guidance and on-the job training to Credit Analyst I(s); maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports; performing all duties of a Credit Analyst I, as required.

Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study preferred; specialized financial analysis training.
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; thorough knowledge of current lending and loan review regulations and banking regulations, procedures, and operations; proficient ability to analyze and interpret financial statements; moderate PC skills; technical supervisory skills sufficient to provide guidance and training to Credit Analyst I(s); visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Credit Analyst normally required. In addition to the preferred experience requirements, promotion from a Credit Analyst I to a Credit Analyst II is contingent upon the incumbent's ability to effectively perform multiple tasks, duties, and jobs throughout the division or department
