Credit Assistant

K&R Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Assistant to join a professional team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service, administrative, and computer skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Handle customer calls and account questions related to billing, payments, statements, and credit
  


• Assist with new account setup and account maintenance
  


• Process payments and credit card transactions
  


• Assist with past-due accounts and collection efforts
  


• Research credit and trade references and assist with credit reviews
  


• Prepare correspondence, invoices, reports, and other documents
  


• Process and follow up on customer orders and payment requirements
  


• Maintain accurate and confidential customer records
  


• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
  


• Provide general administrative support to the Credit Department
  

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
  


• Strong customer service and communication skills
  


• Typing speed of 40+ WPM
  


• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet
  


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  


• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  


• Comfortable handling customer concerns professionally and confidently
  


• Basic math and problem-solving skills
  


• Ability to work independently while also being a team player
  


• Dependable attendance and a professional attitude
