Minimum Qualifications for Critical Care Trainee Position:
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
Current CA RN licensure
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
Meets Expectations or above on most recent annual performance evaluation
Preference given to home facility RNs and Nursing Float Pool represented RNs
Successful candidate will:
Interview and final selection by 9/7/2026
Transfer into Critical Care RN Training program on Sunday, 10/11/26
Attend classes at the Dignity Health Collaborative Learning Center combined with shifts on the unit with assigned preceptor
Train for 16 weeks on Day shift
Scheduled training hours primarily on days until the completion of the training program, then assigned to Full-Time RN Night shift position on the training unit.
Expected to commit to remaining a Dignity Health employee for at least one (1) year following the completion of the training program
100% attendance is expected during the 16-week training program from 10/11/26 - 1/31/27
