Position: Critical Care Transport Paramedic\n\nDept: CareFlight Air \u0026 Mobile\n\nShift: Full Time 7pm - 7:30am / 72 Hours per Pay\n\nFacility: Miami Valley Hospital\n\nSign on Bonus\n\nThe MICU Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence. The MICU paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care in conjunction with a CareFlight Nurse during transport and may also provide patient care for patients in Miami Valley Hospital and any Premier Health facility where a Mobile Intensive Care Unit is based. The CareFlight MICU paramedic works with all populations of patients. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.\n\nEducation: High School completion / GED; Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio \nLicensure/Certification/Registration: \n\uf0a7 Paramedic in the State of Ohio \n\uf0a7 The following certifications are required at the time of hire: \n\uf0a7 BLS, ACLS and PALS \n\uf0a7 The following certifications are required within the specified time frame following hire: \n\uf0a7 90 Days- ITLS or PHTLS \n\uf0a7 1 Year - NRP, ATLS (audit) \n\uf0a7 2 Years - CAMTS approved professional certification \nExperience: Minimum 3 years of full time Paramedic experience required.
