Job Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for outpatient gastrointestinal and endoscopy procedures in state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery centers
• Provide pre-operative assessments and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing GI procedures
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of anesthesia best practices
• Ensure adherence to all AANA guidelines and facility protocols

Job Requirements

• Current, active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
• Eligible for Florida state medical credentialing and licensure
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
• Current certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• GI/endoscopy anesthesia experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
