Job Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical and medical procedures
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia delivery throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide post-anesthesia care and patient education
• Document all anesthesia services using Epic EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical excellence standards
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical airway management

Job Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist educational program required
• Current Oregon CRNA licensure or eligibility to obtain Oregon licensure
• National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Previous anesthesia experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to rural healthcare settings
• Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence
