Job Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical and medical procedures
Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia delivery throughout procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide post-anesthesia care and patient education
Document all anesthesia services using Epic EMR system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical excellence standards
Respond to emergency situations and provide critical airway management
Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist educational program required
Current Oregon CRNA licensure or eligibility to obtain Oregon licensure
National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
Previous anesthesia experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with Epic EMR system preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to rural healthcare settings
