QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
ARRT registration in Radiology; CT registration within 1 year of hire or transfer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Full understanding of HIS, RIS, PACS to include ordering, monitoring workings, validation of images, and completing studies.
Produce high-quality CT images using established protocols
Interview patients, obtain history, explain exams, and assist as needed
Operate power injector systems and other CT equipment
Follow radiation safety and departmental protocols for patient and self
Identify patients with two identifiers (name and birth date)
Recognize normal and abnormal images; report findings to supervisor or radiologist
Organize patient information, reports, and prior studies for interpretation
Maintain proper stock of medical and clerical supplies
Document equipment failures promptly
Provide patient care according to age and treatment needs
Assist with rotating supplies and linen
Perform other duties as assigned
