CT Technologist

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans and general X-ray procedures as per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, explaining the process to patients and addressing any concerns.
• Operate imaging equipment and assess image quality, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and related data.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging protocols and patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards in the imaging department.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in California.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT technology and 2 years of experience in healthcare/medical general X-ray.
• Previous experience as a Sonographer with general ultrasound and vascular experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in imaging technology is desirable.
• Previous travel experience in healthcare settings is a plus.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
