Custodian

Dalen Products is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout our office and manufacturing facility.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and values maintaining an organized and welcoming workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors 
• Empty trash and recycling throughout office and warehouse areas 
• Vacuum offices, conference rooms, and common areas 
• Sweep and mop hard surface floors 
• Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, countertops, and other surfaces 
• Clean lobby and common areas to maintain a professional appearance 
• Clean and sanitize breakroom and kitchen areas 
• Restock restroom supplies as needed 
• Empty designated trash containers throughout the warehouse and production areas 
• Pick up visible debris and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility 
• Monitor cleaning supply levels and report maintenance concerns as needed 

These duties align with maintaining office spaces, restrooms, common areas, and warehouse housekeeping throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred but not required 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance 
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds

Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Hours: Approximately 11 hours per week

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance 

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

Ability to maintain confidentiality while working in office areas 

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently 

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds 

Ability to push, pull, and operate standard cleaning equipment 

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment 

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
