POSITION: Custodian
PROGRAM: Operations
SALARY: $17-18/hour

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, M-F, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., some weekday/weekend nights for events

Overview

This position is responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of the building and grounds. This role reports to the Building Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming rooms, hallways, stairwells, etc.


• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.  Wiping down furniture


• Walking the property and picking up trash and possibly needles. (gloves, grabbers, and sharps containers are provided)


• Assist the operations manager with grounds. (watering, weeding, mowing, etc)


• Filling in at front desk when necessary.
  


• Some lifting of heavy items (under 50 lbs.)


• Other maintenance tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent.


• Some experience in basic office/building cleaning and upkeep.


• Experience in customer service


• Experience with automated floor scrubbers a plus but not required


• Must pass pre-employment background screening.
