Custodian

                           Mangino Buick-GMC is currently in search of a Custodian to assist in the upkeep of the cleanliness and maintaining our welcoming atmosphere at the Ballston Spa location. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, window washing, mopping, and vacuuming


• Empty, clean, and replenish waste containers


• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring supplies like toilet paper and soap are adequately stocked


• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.


• Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, and chairs to prepare facilities for events, such as lunch ins or meetings.


• Some motor vehicle operations


• Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky sinks, etc.


• Identify and report the need for major repairs to supervisors or management


• Move equipment, furniture and supplies


• Keep exterior spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks clean and tidy


• Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring the use of appropriate cleaning agents and equipment


• Any other assigned work-related duties

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Valid Driver's License
