Custodian - FASS-HQ

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in the office, employee breakroom, and restrooms

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance such as painting and cleaning carpets

• Assist in sweeping and removing trash

• Ensure heating and cooling systems are operational

• Maintain a neat and orderly janitors room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked

• Wash windows

• Maintenance and landscaping using tolls such as a weedwhacker.

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions

• Detail-oriented and thorough

• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance and landscaping

• Ability to keep the office clean and orderly

• Ability to interact with other employees and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing

• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
