As a Customer Service Associate, you will support PGT Trucking's customers by coordinating shipments, responding to service needs, and helping ensure freight is scheduled and delivered efficiently. In this role, you will communicate with customers by phone and email, build strong relationships with key accounts, and use sound judgment to strategically book freight for our terminals. You will also work with urgency to solve challenges, support drivers in difficult freight environments, and leverage technology to help meet internal transportation needs in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Solicit, process, and coordinate shipment scheduling for existing and new customers.


• Respond to customer phone calls and emails regarding service questions, problems, or complaints.


• Use knowledge and sound judgment to strategically book freight for PGT terminals.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support ownership of key accounts.


• Leverage technology to ensure internal freight needs are met efficiently.


• Act with urgency to book additional loads and support drivers in challenging freight environments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor's strongly preferred.


• 0-5 year of experience in Transportation.


• 0-5 years of management experience.


• Customer Service, Detailed Oriented, and Sense of Urgency Mentality.


• Must have attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
