POSITION DETAILS

JOB PURPOSE

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for assisting the Customer Service Lead Person and Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position would be responsible for COM, CFA, and CTM orders. Mailing of CFA’s to customers and keeping up with approvals, will be in charge of all 860 changes daily, answer questions regarding fabric availability, process tickets weekly for casing and core schedules and provide backup for Order Proofing. This position may also be cross-trained to help with other functions/tasks as needed. Any other tasks asked by the supervisor will be required as well.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Computer experience such as using email, Excel, word, etc.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Furniture Customer Service Experience preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma.

PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree.

Must have strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills; strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills; must be an autonomous/independent worker; Must be able to perform established goals in a fast-paced environment. Strict attention to detail is a must. Must be a Team Player. Must be reliable. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must have your own reliable transportation. Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime. Must have strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs. Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Some walking/standing is required. Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled, as well as a typical office environment. Must have good vision. Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heel shoes when required. Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
