Job Description - Customer Service Leader

As a Customer Service Leader (CSL) at Chick-fil-A, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and supporting operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing financial procedures, overseeing catering operations, and leading guest service initiatives in the dining room. You’ll work alongside team members to uphold Chick-fil-A’s standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Schedule and Availability

CSL Shifts are 5:45am to 11:30am, 11:30am to 5:15pm, and 5:15pm to 11:00pm Monday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cash Management

  • Count and balance cash drawers with accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform safe counts and daily cash handling checklists.
  • Maintain compliance with all cash control policies.

2. Catering Operations

  • Prepare and package catering orders according to Chick-fil-A standards.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and front counter to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Communicate effectively with catering clients to confirm details and resolve any concerns.

3. Dining Room Guest Service

  • Provide a welcoming and attentive presence in the dining room.
  • Assist guests with orders, refills, and special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas.


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous customer service or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with cash handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Commitment to Chick-fil-A’s values of hospitality, integrity, and excellence.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8–10 hours per shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally (e.g., catering trays, product boxes).
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and reaching overhead.
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in hot or cold conditions (such as kitchen, walk-in cooler/freezer, or outside).
