Our client is an industrial manufacturer in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Role

In this entry-level role you will be part of the Customer Service team, helping customers and outside sales representatives with day-to-day activity. The core of the job is contract review and order entry: checking incoming sales orders so they are accurate and can be entered, and responding to customers quickly and correctly. Relocation is not offered, so local candidates are preferred.

What You Will Do

• Confirm receipt of orders received by email.
• Review and enter orders for accuracy and completeness against customer and company requirements.
• Keep ship-to addresses, contacts and prospects up to date in the order system.
• Tell customers about any discrepancies or changes needed on their orders.
• Work with outside sales and internal departments to meet customer requirements.
• Log customer concerns and complaints.
• Take calls on the customer service phone line.
• Help with other projects as assigned.

What You Bring

• Customer service and contract or order review experience
• Typing of at least 50 WPM with high accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good communication skills with customers, outside sales and internal teams
• Good critical thinking for resolving order questions and problems
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work at a fast pace with interruptions and some time pressure

• Industrial sales background

REVENUE: Net 12.5% of first-year salary. Est. fee per hire $4.7K-$5.5K; 1 seat(s) = up to $5.5K if all filled.

BEST-FIT CANDIDATE: Entry-level customer service with order entry / contract review experience; 50 WPM typing with high accuracy; Microsoft Office. Industrial sales background a plus. Local to Omaha, NE only (no relocation). US work authorization, no sponsorship.
