The Customer Service Representative will support our manufacturing operations by maintaining clear, courteous, accurate, and timely communication among customers, account managers, and plant teams. In this role, you’ll process orders, coordinate shipping and invoicing, respond to customer needs, and partner with internal departments to resolve concerns related to pricing, quality, and delivery.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, account managers, and internal teams.

Process customer orders accurately and ensure orders are entered into the system each day.

Coordinate accurate customer shipping and invoicing.

Communicate customer complaints, changes in ship dates, and other correspondence to the appropriate departments.

Maintain accurate and current customer information in company systems.

Prepare and maintain a daily report of incoming orders.

Help resolve customer concerns related to pricing or quality.

Process quotes and obtain raw material pricing.

Process requests for samples, brochures, and literature.

Provide support to other Customer Service Representatives and assist with related duties as needed.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Three years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to manage difficult or sensitive customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs, and follow through on commitments.

Clear verbal communication, active listening, and strong written communication skills.

Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.

Professional, tactful, adaptable, dependable, and able to work effectively through changing priorities.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Experience with CRM or database software, inventory and manufacturing systems, order processing systems, Microsoft Excel, and word processing software is preferred.

Play an important role in supporting customers and day-to-day plant operations.

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Shipping, Finance, and other teams.

Build valuable experience in manufacturing customer service, order processing, and problem resolution.

Contribute to accurate, timely service that strengthens customer relationships.
