Job Description - Customer Service Representative - Logistics, Order Management & Operations
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM or 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
Join a global leader supporting the pharmaceutical manufacturing and logistics industry in a role that blends customer service, order management, logistics coordination, and operational execution.
This is not a traditional call center or one-call-close customer service position. Instead, you'll own customer orders and leasing transactions from start to finish, coordinating across multiple teams, systems, locations, and time zones to ensure seamless fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Think of yourself as the quarterback of the process. You'll manage the lifecycle of customer orders, resolve issues, coordinate logistics, and ensure smooth handoffs within a global 24/7operation. Candidates from logistics, transportation, supply chain, leasing, freight, operations support, or other process-driven environments tend to excel because of the complexity, ownership, and follow-through required.
What You'll Do
Manage customer orders and lease transactions from order entry through completion and return
Coordinate shipments, lease modifications, returns, customer requests, and issue resolution
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers while partnering with Sales, Logistics, Product Support, Supply Chain, and a global network of service centers and hubs
Work across multiple systems including CRM, ERP, customer portals, and internal communication platforms
Maintain detailed documentation and provide thorough shift handoffs in a global support environment
Own customer issues through resolution while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
Communicate primarily via email (approximately 85%) with phone interaction reserved for urgent situations
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
2+ years of experience in customer service, order management, logistics, transportation, supply chain, operations support, or another process-driven support environment
Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and moving pieces simultaneously
Technically adept at navigating across various software platforms
Responsive, accountable, and detail-oriented approach to work
Must have an interest in growth opportunities from within
Why This Role?
401(k) with immediate vesting, up to 6% match
5 weeks of PTO
Structured 4-6 week onboarding and training program
Career paths into Team Lead, Supervisor, Logistics, Product Support, and other operational functions
Exposure to complex global operations supporting the pharmaceutical manufacturing and logistics industry
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, solve problems, coordinate complex processes, and build a long-term career at a successful company with global impact, this is an excellent opportunity to do so.
