Customs Entry Writer

Location: Louisville, KY/ Onsite only

Hours: Full-Time 

Salary: $45,000–$55,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join an established international freight forwarding and customs brokerage company in Louisville, KY. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customs entry documents for Customs release and duty payment.
  
• Prepare Remote Location Filing (RLF) entries.
  
• Submit required information and documentation to government agencies.
  
• Ensure timely filing of ISF, FDA documentation, and customs entries.
  
• Prepare customs clearance packets, billing documentation, and client communications.
  
• Process customs brokerage fees and invoices for existing clients.
  
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient customs clearance.
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• Experience in customs brokerage, customs entry processing, or import documentation preferred.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Ability to calculate figures, duties, and fees accurately.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
  
• Strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and customer service.
