M&ST and CFD Learning Management System and Systems Design Specialist

Summary
C² Technologies seeks a LMS and Systems Design Specialist who builds, maintains, tests, and improves online learning content in Government-approved learning platforms supporting M&ST and CFD. The specialist works with Course Directors, instructors, instructional designers, and Government leads to ensure course content is accurate, functional, accessible, current, and aligned with instructional goals.
Responsibilities
- After Government approval, upload, configure, update, and maintain course content in the assigned LMS or designated system.
- Build modules, assessments, activities, resources, and course structures; test functionality and correct discrepancies within required timelines.
- Create or revise student manuals, instructional videos, user guides, fact sheets, handouts, instructor manuals, and job aids.
- Provide user instructions and practical guidance to Course Directors, instructors, and stakeholders on course design and effective LMS utilization.
- Maintain course currency in accordance with established guidance and implement Government-approved changes based on stakeholder feedback.
- Support virtual classroom and meeting platforms and their integration with LMS-based instruction.
- Use approved curriculum-development and authoring tools; do not introduce contractor software without prior Government review and approval.
- Help resolve basic LMS or course-content issues and escalate higher-level issues through approved channels without making unauthorized system changes.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or an approved PWS equivalency: associate degree plus four years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED plus five years of relevant experience.
Experience
- At least two years of experience in LMS administration, instructional design, and/or e-learning development supporting online course delivery.
- Experience developing instructional materials and maintaining course content based on stakeholder feedback and established guidance.
Tools & Systems
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing online course content in an LMS such as Moodle, Canvas, or a comparable platform, including modules, assessments, and learning activities.
- Experience with virtual classroom platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom and their use with LMS-supported instruction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent products.
Skills
- Knowledge of instructional-design principles and adult-learning theory.
- Ability to advise stakeholders on course design and LMS use.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Government or military learning environments, Section 508-compliant content, LMS quality assurance, technical documentation, and online-course troubleshooting.

Base Salary Range: $50K– $100K / year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and structural alignment. Individual pay is influenced by several factors, including the candidate's work location, relevant experience, skillset, and contract constraints.
