Data Center Project Engineer Controls SCADA

Large‑scale data center program is seeking a mid‑level Project Engineer specializing in SCADA, HMI development, and control network architecture. Facilities include 30+ PLCs and multiple SCADA servers, requiring strong technical ownership and client‑facing confidence.

What you’ll do

• Design, document, and support control network architecture for multi‑PLC, multi‑server facilities


• Own SCADA/HMI graphics development and issue resolution on Ignition and AVEVA System Platform


• Maintain consistency and reliability by adhering to established company and client standards


• Troubleshoot escalated graphics, communications, and SCADA performance issues


• Interface directly with the client and manage deliverables with limited daily direction

What we’re looking for

• 5–10 years of controls experience with specialization in SCADA/HMI platforms


• Strong experience with Ignition (Inductive Automation) or AVEVA System Platform


• Solid understanding of network architecture, Modbus communications, and controls fundamentals


• Independent, self‑directed, and comfortable working in a client‑facing environment


• Backgrounds in energy, oil & gas, data centers, or other large‑scale industrial control environments
