Role Description

Role Description:

As a Technical Lead - Data Modeling at Incedo, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models to support various business requirements. You will work with business analysts and architects to understand business needs and translate them into data models. You will be skilled in data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio and have experience in database management systems such as Oracle or SQL Server. You will be responsible for ensuring that data models are accurate, efficient, and scalable.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•    Designing, implementing and maintaining data models for various business requirements

•    Creating and managing metadata and data dictionaries

•    Analyzing and optimizing database performance

•    Collaborating with other teams to ensure the consistency and integrity of data

•    Conducting data modeling workshops and training sessions

•    Providing guidance and mentorship to junior data modeling analysts.

 

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:

•    Proficiency in data modeling techniques such as ER modeling, dimensional modeling, or data vault modeling.

•    Knowledge of data warehousing concepts such as star schema, snowflake schema, or hybrid schema.

•    Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, PowerDesigner, or SQL Developer Data Modeler.

•    Familiarity with data modeling best practices such as normalization, denormalization, and indexing.

•    Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

•    Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.

•    Should be open to new ideas and be willing to learn and develop new skills. 

•    Should also be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

•    7-9 years of work experience in relevant field

•    B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
