Job Description - Database Administrator

Role

Job Overview: You will be a key member of the systems security department, working independently or with a team to ensure that the companyâs software is secured and meets quality standards for a variety of industries in the United States. You will also help monitor and regulate the efficiency of the departmentâs services, ensuring an optimal pace for all core and ad-hoc activities.

You will also be expected to work with other departments to meet customers' requirements; Deal with complaints, update security protocols for computers, mobile devices, and websites, as well as provide reports about the status of the companyâs systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

â¢ Design and implementation of database systems.

â¢ Creating database schema.

â¢ Configuring the database software.

â¢ Setting up database security.

â¢ monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.

Profile Requirements

â¢ Fluency in English is a must; previous experience with Anglophone clients is a plus.

â¢ Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or any relevant discipline is necessary.

â¢ At least 5 years of work experience in database administration.

â¢ In-depth knowledge of relevant database languages and applications, such as SQL, MySQL, SAP, and Oracle.

â¢ In-depth knowledge of systems like Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.

â¢ Expertise in the backup and restoration of database servers
