Dealership Porter - Hammond, LA

We are seeking a Porter for our Ross Downing CDJR Dealership who will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are clean and properly parked, and assisting with vehicle organization. The ideal candidate will be able to work outside on their feet for extended periods and operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Movement and Parking:

  • Move and park vehicles in a neat and organized manner on the dealership lot.
  
  
  • Ensure vehicles are parked safely and do not obstruct customer or staff access.
  
  
  
  


• Lot Maintenance and Organization:


• 
  
  
  
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, including removing debris and ensuring a tidy appearance.
  
  
  • Arrange vehicles to showcase the inventory attractively and efficiently.
  
  
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure the lot is well-maintained and safe.
  
  
  
  


• General Duties:

  • Provide support to the sales and service teams by retrieving and delivering vehicles as needed.
  
  
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.
  
  
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the overall operations of the dealership.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to work outside on your feet for extended periods, regardless of weather conditions.


• Ability to perform tasks that require frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.


• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.


• Valid driver’s license.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
