Delivery Driver

Wellfound Foods is a next-generation grab-and-go food company based in Upper Marlboro, serving Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We specialize in fresh, prepared meals and snacks for wholesale distribution to retailers and for direct sale through our network of tech-enabled, contactless SmartMarket kiosks.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to be the face of Wellfound Foods in the field, delivering meals to our SmartMarket kiosks and wholesale partners. This role ensures timely, accurate deliveries and involves basic maintenance to keep our kiosks running smoothly and looking great for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving and Efficient Navigation: Operate a company-owned refrigerated van, maneuvering city streets safely and efficiently.
• Order Verification: Verify all orders before leaving HQ and ensure accurate placement in kiosks upon arrival.
• Customer Support Coordination: Work with customer support to troubleshoot issues, document any challenges, and assist with minor kiosk repairs.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and maintain the company vehicle to uphold company standards.
• Communication: Keep in real-time contact with the team via Slack to report any issues or updates from the field.
• Kiosk Presentation: Maintain clean, organized, and appealing kiosks to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Customer Interaction: Represent Wellfound with a friendly and professional demeanor, engaging positively with customers.

Requirements:

• Nighttime Availability
• Valid US Driver’s License with a clear motor vehicle report.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability in verifying and delivering orders.
• Basic mechanical skills to handle minor SmartMarket repairs and refrigerated van maintenance.
• Smartphone with navigation capabilities.
• 2+ years of relevant experience 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $23 per hour
• Company Vehicle: Provided for deliveries and maintenance duties
