Delivery Helper $18/hr No Car or License, No Experience

Starbird Delivery LLC is a locally owned delivery company in Simi Valley. We've been running routes here since 2020, we employ around 90 people, and we run about 45 vans out of our facility on Tapo Canyon Road.

Safety, Teamwork, Excellence, Customer Service. That's on our logo and it's how we run the place. You'd be a W-2 employee of Starbird Delivery, LLC — no car needed, real benefits, and an owner who knows your name.

You don't need a car. You don't need a driver's license. You don't need experience. You ride along with one of our drivers and help get packages to the door.

THE PAY

- $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

- Overtime at time and a half after 8 hours in a day or 40 in a week

- Paid every two weeks by direct deposit

- Paid training

THE SCHEDULE

- Start time is around 10:45 AM

- Shifts up to 10 hours, 3 to 5 days per week

- Routes run 7 days a week, and you'll work at least one weekend day

- Full-time and part-time both available

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Ride the route with a driver

- Load and unload packages

- Walk packages to the customer's door

- Get in and out of the van many times a day

- Lift up to 50 lbs

- Work outside in heat, rain and cold

WHERE THIS GOES

Some of our drivers started out as helpers. Drivers have to be 21 and hold a valid driver's license. If you want your own route at a higher rate, tell us and we'll train you for it.

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Valid form of government-issued ID

- Able to move packages up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

- Able to be on your feet and getting in and out of a van throughout the shift

- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather

- Available to work at least one weekend day

- Reliable and works well with a partner

Pay transparency (California SB 1162): the hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 to $19.00. Overtime is paid in accordance with California law.
