About the Opportunity
The Demand Writer Assistant supports consumer protection attorneys by managing bilingual client communications and demand-related processes. This associate-level position involves coordinating settlements, processing documentation, and maintaining correspondence with insurance adjusters. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. Key responsibilities include client follow-up, lien processing, and administrative support throughout the demand lifecycle. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective client service.

Responsibilities
Manage bilingual client communications in English and Spanish throughout the demand process
Coordinate settlement negotiations and release documentation with insurance adjusters
Process and maintain accurate documentation and lien records for all cases
Conduct systematic follow-up with clients and insurance representatives to advance case resolution
Support demand writers with administrative tasks and correspondence management

Professional bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with ability to communicate effectively with clients and adjusters
Availability for full-time work during 8 AM - 5 PM PST work hours
Demonstrated experience handling legal documentation including releases, CMS forms, PLED waivers, and 1.5.1 forms
Strong phone communication skills with capability to manage inbound and outbound client and insurance adjuster interactions
Organizational skills sufficient to maintain comprehensive client files and systematically track case-related documentation
Proven ability to coordinate settlements and obtain signed legal documents from clients and relevant parties
Experience processing and following up on medical and legal liens and subrogation matters
Experience managing professional correspondence via mail and electronic communication channels
Some college coursework completed, indicating foundational professional and communication skills
Ability to accurately take and relay messages between internal legal team members
