Dental Assistant

Mendocino Coast Clinics will train you to become a Registered Dental Assistant.  You will be responsible for providing chair side support services to the Dentist in the clinical treatment of patients.  You will learn:      

• Provide chair side support to Dental Provider
•  Monitor and reinforce patient comfort
•  Maintain patient flow to ensure continuous delivery of dental services
• Patient education - Hygiene and  other dental instruction, Post Op instruction as directed by Dental Provider

Qualifications and Skills

Willingness and ability to follow Clinic Policies established as a result of regulations and/or grant requirements of State Department of Health, Rural Health Division, CHDP, State licensing and certification and the Board of Directors

A CPR certificate or willingness to become CPR certified within three months of employment

Ability to learn dental processes and eventually take the test to become a Registered Dental Assistant.
