Our established and growing dental practice located at 650 N. Nellis Blvd., Las Vegas, NV is seeking a skilled, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. Our practice is located within a multidisciplinary medical center, allowing our dental team to work closely with other healthcare providers to support comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control standards
Take and document dental radiographs (X-rays)
Review and update patient medical histories and records
Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions
Maintain accurate and timely patient charting and clinical documentation
Ensure patient comfort and provide exceptional customer service throughout treatment
Support efficient patient flow while maintaining quality patient care
Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, front office staff, and other departments within the medical center to support coordinated care
Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and organizational policies and procedures
Qualifications
Current CPR certification required
Dental assisting experience preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
