A surgical perio assisting role focused on implants, grafting, and periodontal surgery, including sedation cases.

Our practice has two periodontists: Dr. Karen Lanier, practicing for more than 20 years, and Dr. Omar Glover, who completed his periodontal residency alongside a Ph.D. in oral biology.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with implant, grafting, and periodontal surgical procedures


• Prepare and support patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation cases


• Take digital radiographs


• Set up and break down surgical operatories and maintain sterile technique


• Review post-op instructions with patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their care

What You’ll Bring

• Periodontal assisting experience (required)


• Confidence with surgical setups, sterile field, and instrument handling


• Calm, clear communication with patients who may be anxious about surgery
