About the Opportunity

Our consulting firm is partnering with an established dental practice in New Braunfels with an excellent reputation in the community. We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist for a 6-month contract position starting as soon as possible.

Position Details

Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
Schedule: Flexible - Part-time or Full-time available
Hours: 20-50 hours per week (based on your availability)
Location: Arlington, TX

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
  

• Conduct patient assessments including reviewing medical history and taking vital signs
  

• Expose and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
  

• Apply preventive materials such as fluorides and sealants
  

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
  

• Document patient care services and treatment plans accurately
  

• Maintain infection control standards and sterilization protocols
  

• Collaborate effectively with dentists and dental assistants to ensure quality patient care
  

Required Qualifications

• Current RDH License: Must hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of Texas
  

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical dental hygiene experience
  

• Certifications: Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  

• Strong clinical skills with emphasis on patient comfort and quality care
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
