Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, Missile Defense Integration Business Unit (BU), has an exciting career opportunity for a Deputy Infrastructure Lead \u2013 Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse, and innovative individuals located in Huntsville, AL.\n\nPosition Overview:\n\nAs a Deputy supporting Internal Research and Development (IRAD), you will work in a collaborative environment to understand system requirements and perform software development for an innovative Fire Control System. \n\nEssential Functions:\n\n * Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master\u2019s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related experience, or a PhD and 4 years of related work experience.\n\n * Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start\n\n * Experience Developing Software in C++, Java or Python \n\n * Prior experience working with containerization technologies\n\n * Use of Docker or Kubernetes to deploy/manage applications\n\n * Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs\n\n * Applicants must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment \n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
