Design Engineer, Structural

Design Engineers, Structural for Rosemont, IL location. Apply principles, methods, and techniques of structural engineering as they relate to the design of vehicular and pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, culverts, dams and other structures. Assist with quantity take offs and engineering estimates for structural design projects including bridge construction and rehabilitation, retaining wall construction, culvert construction, dam construction and other structures. Assist with utility coordination, construction details, staging/traffic control plan, bid items, specifications and minor civil design as needed. Perform required calculations for the accurate and complete design of project features. Assist with bridge inspections and other inspections as needed as well as the development of inspection reports. Coordinate with other departments and sub-consultants on the project design, as needed. Assist with accuracy and quality of engineering design, specifications, and estimates. Utilize MicroStation to prepare plans and construction documents.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
