Job Description:

The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing engineering documentation and maintaining a CAD model database. The candidate will execute assignments under close supervision as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering design team.

Essential Functions:

• Documentation and drawing generation


• Frequent use of mechanical CAD modeling tools


• Specification, model, and drawing generation per ASME Y14.100


• Collaboration with multifunctional engineering teams
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Excellent communication skills


• Broad understanding of basic mechanical design practices


• Hands-on hardware or laboratory experience with electronic assemblies and systems


• Ability to obtain a US security clearance


• Familiarity with Windchill, Creo, and military design and environmental test standards

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is [$52,000 - $97,000]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
