Detail Technician

JOB SUMMARY: Paragon Leasing, LP services commercial tractors and trailers out of our Dallas, Texas terminal and is hiring a Detail Technician to thoroughly clean our fleet of trucks in preparation for hitting the road. No experience needed but applicants must be passionate about the small details and making sure drivers leave the yard with a dealership quality vehicle. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Key Responsibilities  

• Cleaning the interior of company trucks

• Polishing and drying windshields, windows and lights 

• Vacuuming and shampooing upholstery 

• Dash, console and seat cleaning 

• Some stain and odor removal 

• Coating wheels and tires 

• Preparing sold vehicles for new owners 

• Keeping work area clean 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Minimum Qualifications 

• High school diploma 

• Valid driver's license is  

• Ability to read, write and speak English 

• Strong eye for detail 

• Positive and enthusiastic attitude 

• Ability to work independently and with efficiency 

 Preferred Qualifications 

• Basic computer skills 

• DOT license 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

• Commercial Vehicle detailing 

• Interior cleaning  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

• Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces  

• Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements  

• Using hands to handle, control or feel  

• Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms  

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds  

Work Experience:  

• 1+ year work experience
