Job Description - DevOps Manager


Responsibilities



  • Managing a team of high performing engineers, providing day-to-day leadership and works with staff to ensure a high-performance, customer service-oriented work environment

  • Responsible for the vision, design, installation, and administration of cloud computing and data storage resources and related management software in support of data intensive global operations specifications

  • Overseeing the implementation, deployment, and integration of solutions

  • Serves as a mentor for the team playing a key role in the development of new ideas for products and services

  • Oversee the efficient consumption of cloud resources and the development of automation of the environment leveraging CICD pipelines

  • Develop, manage, measure and report on key performance indicators and Infrastructure metrics

  • Assist in the develop and implement policies and procedures related to the usage and operations of on-premises and cloud technology

  • Conduct high level technical and operational trending analysis to direct staff to conduct continuous improvement across computing Infrastructure systems and applications

  • This position will create and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues in the Global Technology Organization, to ensure systems meet the need of the consumers






Requirements

Experience Required:



  • Experience managing technical resources - 4+ years

  • Experience working in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP) - 7+ years

  • Experience with industry best practices in infrastructure management and administration - 2+ years
