Diagnostic Imaging RVT Anesthetist

Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital is excited to announce we are looking for Registered Veterinary Technicians to join the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

About the job: You will assist the hospital in delivering excellent care to all our patients within the hospital and perform duties pursuant to WRAH Technician Protocols. You will embody our culture by treating every client with courtesy and respect, with a keen sensitivity to the emotional bond between owners and their pets.

How you'll make a difference

• Monitor and appropriately document patient vital signs and activity 
• Work with all departments to run anesthesia for all CT scans/Sedated ultrasounds and/or radiographs 
• Coordinates daily patient imaging CT schedule with all departments & Diagnostic Imaging departments (Radiologists and Anesthesiologist)
• Communicates with all other departments (timely, professionally, friendly)
• Opportunity for extensive learning, especially related to internal medicine, oncology, surgery, and ER/critical care patients

What you will bring 

• Experience working as registered technician anesthetist. ASA Levels 1-3 preferred. A strong desire to learn and apply knowledge/skills learned to daily work life
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
• Ability to demonstrate technical procedures as outlined in the technician protocols
• Demonstrate reliability and follow-through with all work-related tasks / projects

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Salary: $24.00-$30.00 / hour, based on experience with anesthetic protocols
