Diagnostic Radiologic Technician (CT)

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as MRI, X-rays, Fluoroscopy, CT, Echo, Cath Lab, Mammography, PET, and Electroneurodiagnostic, specializing in CT scans
• Conduct exams during overnight 12-hour tours, following the rotating schedule:
• Week #1: Sunday 12 a.m. - 7:30 a.m., Thursday to Saturday 7:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. (Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
• Week #2: Wednesday to Saturday 7:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. (Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m., Saturday until midnight)
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of imaging services
• Adhere to established protocols for radiation safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality
• Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine maintenance and participating in quality assurance activities
• Accurately document procedures in electronic medical records and other relevant systems

• Completion of a full-time training course of at least 24 months in a post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program, evidenced by a certificate or associate degree accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or an equivalent agency recognized by the Department of Education (DOE)
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT). Additional certifications in MRI, X-Rays, Fluoroscopy, and other modalities preferred or eligible for certification within six months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an American Heart Association (AHA)-approved vendor
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficiency in performing specialized radiographic procedures, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and the health care team
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts as detailed above
• All candidates will be subjected to a background/security investigation and must also pass a pre-employment physical exam
