ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Screen clients seeking diagnostic evaluation services; providing timely follow up on phone calls and inquiries
- Ensure clients and their families feel a sense of welcome
- Collect basic information from clients to begin the Intake process
- Verify client information and benefits
- Maintain accurate documentation of service requests, testing, and referrals
- Work collaboratively as a team member as evidenced by professional and timely communication, treating others positively, and resolving conflict in appropriate ways
- Predictable, reliable, and prompt attendance and ability to report to and work in the Central office
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager
- Calculate and collect estimated client financial responsibility prior to scheduling services
- Request authorization for diagnostic services when required by insurance
- Schedule diagnostic clients for all services
PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using electronic medical record applications (Central Reach preferred).
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Gmail office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Must be bilingual (Spanish)
- Must convey a sense of passion about helping children with autism through ABA therapy
