Mac Haik's Southway Ford, in San Antonio, TX is looking for a Certified Diesel Service Mechanic who takes pride in their craft and wants to grow in a fast‑paced, professional dealership environment, in a brand new, State of the Art, Ford fleet Facility. 🔧 What You’ll Do



  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy‑duty and medium‑duty diesel vehicles

  • Review repair orders, road-test vehicles, and accurately diagnose malfunctions

  • Follow manufacturer checklists to ensure all critical systems are inspected

  • Inspect safety components including guards, fasteners, and required devices

  • Test-drive vehicles to confirm proper operation after repairs

  • Tag and process all warranty parts per manufacturer requirements

  • Stay current with factory training, service bulletins, and technical updates

  • Accurately document all repair work in compliance with warranty guidelines

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and return vehicles as clean as received

  • Work closely with service advisors, teammates, and management to meet production goals

  • Deliver professional, courteous service to customers and dealership staff

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor or Management


✅ What We’re Looking For



  • Ford Certification is a plus (not required), Other OEM Certifications are Transferrable

  • Previous Ford dealership experience preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of fleet or dealership diesel experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Own tools required

  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail

  • Team‑oriented with a customer‑first mindset

  • Self‑motivated and eager to continue learning

  • Clean Driving Record
