Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in maintaining and repairing Class 7 and 8 trucks. Knowledge of Cummins Insite diagnostic software is strongly preferred. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance on Class 7 & 8 commercial trucks

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine issues

• Utilize Cummins Insite (preferred) or other diagnostic tools to identify fault codes and troubleshoot engine problems

• Complete oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance

• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards

• Inspect and test vehicles to verify repairs and perform road tests as needed

• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training in diesel technology preferred.

• 2+ years of experience with diesel engines and commercial truck maintenance.

• Basic knowledge of Class 7 and 8 truck systems (brakes, suspension, drivetrain, etc.).

• Experience using Cummins Insite or similar diagnostic software preferred.

• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing as needed for extended periods
