Diesel Mechanic Technician

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers. From preventative maintenance to advanced diagnostics and repairs, you will play a key role in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles and equipment
  
• Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
  
• Conduct detailed inspections to identify existing or potential mechanical issues
  
• Utilize diagnostic software, tools, and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed repair and maintenance documentation
  
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and maintenance needs
  
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to company standards
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably within the transportation or fleet industry
  
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy -duty truck systems
  
• Experience using diagnostic software and repair equipment
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem -solving abilities
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Schedule

• Afternoon Shift: 2:30 AM - 11:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
  
• Overtime available and paid after 40 hours
