Working Shop Supervisor



About the Role



We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Working Shop Suervisor-Heavy Duty Mechanic to lead and support our team of diesel technicians. This role involves both supervising daily operations and actively performing mechanical work on our fleet of heavy duty trucks and equipment. 



Responsibilities 



*Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the truck shop

*Diagnose and repair diesel engines, heavy duty vehicles, and related equipment. 

*Ensure timely and high-quality completion of maintenance and repairs. 

*Maintain accurate records of service, parts usage, and labor

*Enforce workshop safety procedures and compliance standards. 

*Communicate effectively with management regarding shop performace, needs, and priorities.

*Manage inventory levels and place orders for parts and supplies as needed. 



Qualifications



*Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic (Trade Cert or equivalent)

*Previous experience in a supervisory or lead technician role

*Strong Mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills

*Valid Drivers License with CDL 

*Possession of a Class 7 State Inspection License
