Job Description - Dietician


Job Title: Dietician
Location: Gowan Field Fitness Center, Boise Idaho
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
Qualification: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship.
  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Experience with eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and body image work.
  • Familiarity with military body composition requirements and culture.
  • licensure as a Dietitian in Idaho (or eligibility to obtain a license).
Duties:
  • Develop personalized care plans focused on achieving optimal body mass index.
  • Conduct assessments of nutritional status.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle choices resulting in a minimum annual 5% reduction in flagged Service Members.
  • Support lifestyle changes through educational outreach at IDNG wellness events.
  • Engage actively with local health and wellness groups, the Office of the State Surgeon, and other Guard entities.
