RD Associate - Role Overview

• An RD Associate is a registered dietitian with less than one year of clinical experience.

• Per CMS, a dietitian in this role can not perform assessments, POCs, FHM, Home modality support

• A single, qualified renal RD with > 1 year of experience MUST “job-share” and provide oversight until the RD

Associate has met the 1 yr clinical experience requirement. Partner closely with your Div. Lead RD for support.
