Job Description - Dietitian - Oncology, Days

Overview

This position will be Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm floating in person between our two nearby hospitals at Piedmont Newton and Piedmont Rockdale.

Responsibilities

This position provides nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field of study from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited program Required

Work Experience

3 years of clinical experience working in acute care with nutrition support, specifically enteral nutrition Preferred
Work experience in oncology/cancer nutrition counseling Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RD - Registered Dietician Registered Dietitian-Commission on Dietetic Registration Upon Hire Required
RD - Registered Dietician Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as a Dietitian Upon Hire Required
