Job Description - Digital Research & Insights Specialist (Contingent)

We’re excited to share an upcoming opportunity pending a contract award and are connecting with qualified candidates in advance. Once we identify the right candidate, we anticipate extending a contingent offer, with employment dependent on final award confirmation and funding.

At Altarum, we’re driven by a simple but powerful mission: improving the health of individuals with fewer financial resources and populations underserved by the healthcare system. We partner with federal and state agencies to design and deliver solutions that make a real, measurable difference.

In this role, you’ll join Palladian Partners, Altarum Enterprise’s full-service marketing and communications team, collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions for our clients.

About the Role

As Digital Research & Insights Specialist, you'll be a key contributor on projects from research through execution, helping shape solutions and supporting the teams you work with. You'll manage relationships and communication across internal teams and with clients, produce early drafts of reports and other deliverables, and help monitor shifts in the environment that could affect client success. This role has a specific focus on Qualtrics administration and survey support, helping turn research into meaningful user experience (UX) and content improvements and recommendations.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and manage surveys in Qualtrics, including logic, distribution, and reporting.

  • Analyze and synthesize survey and user research findings into actionable UX and content recommendations.

  • Pull and format standard reports and dashboards from Qualtrics data.

  • Partner with digital team members to translate research insights into site or product improvements.

  • Support other research or feedback tools as needed, such as analytics platforms and usability testing tools.

  • Draft high-quality correspondence, reports, and other materials for internal teams and clients.

  • Communicate directly with clients and external partners to implement strategies and tactics.

  • Draft project plans and track project activities, timelines, and quality reviews.

  • Provide client service support through regular monitoring and reporting, timeline management, quality control, and client touchpoints.

  • Collaborate with teammates to proactively address challenges and solve problems.

  • Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings, including taking actionable notes and handling scheduling and logistics.

  • Participate in new business activities, including research and proposal preparation.

  • Contribute to organic growth.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public health, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in digital role(s).

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience configuring and administering Qualtrics.

  • Familiarity with UX or accessibility concepts.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team and with key stakeholders and clients.

  • An action-oriented, organized, proactive, and adaptable approach.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to customer service.

  • Government contracting experience is a plus

Why Join Our Team?

This role puts you at the center of meaningful, varied work — from designing surveys and analyzing user feedback to shaping client strategy and contributing to new business proposals. You'll build skills across research, UX, and client service while working closely with a collaborative digital team. It's a great fit if you enjoy variety, want to grow your project and client management experience, and like seeing your work turn into real improvements for the people who use our clients' products and services.
